A Self Discovery 'Short Cut' ?

I recently received an e-mail inquiry from a prospective client asking if an Akashic Records / Life Path reading would give her information that she would not find through self discovery and if I really and truly help people with their life paths.

What great questions! Definitely thought provoking, it challenged me to express my heart felt beliefs and relay my experience after 3 1/2 years of providing readings.

Weather I have helped people with their life paths isn’t for me to say. Judging by the smiling faces, expressions of thanks, follow up bookings and referrals gratefully received, I would hope so.

In my opinion and experience, an Akashic Records reading provides a different method of uncovering information about your life path direction, current blocks and methods of clearing them, than the traditional independent self discovery process. I think of an Akashic Records reading as a direct line to your best interests — a short cut to what your Soul really wants you to know so that you can progress more quickly.

Most people who are on a self discovery journey look for direction from their conscious mind/thought process which is loaded with negative self beliefs and learned fears. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this route. It is a valid process of identifying your emotions, recognizing how your body feels at that time and your habitual reaction to various situations. All this is necessary before you even figure out how to re-pattern your beliefs and responses in order to move through the issue troubling you. With many if not most of us, this is a very long process as we have acquired numerous limiting beliefs, fears, phobias and less than beneficial reactions over the course of our life (and often brought forward from prior lives) which need to be peeled away before we can be our True Self and live our best life.

In an Akashic Records reading, you are asking questions of and receiving answers from your Higher Self (your Super Conscious mind if you will), with myself being the interpreter relaying the information to you. During the reading I am tuned in to my Higher Self, which communicates easily with your Higher Self as they operate on the same vibrational frequency. The more open you are to allowing the process to unfold as your Higher Self knows is in your best interest, the better the quality response you receive.

Your Higher Self has the answers you seek as it knows your entire current life and past life history plus the likely outcomes based on any current choices you may make. Your Akashic Records are your personal book in the Library of Existence. Accessing your personal information is truly a direct line to growth, a short cut to what your Soul really wants you to know so that you can progress more quickly. Being the best possible you and living your best possible life is what your Soul wants for you! Life is hard only if you choose to believe it is.

An Akashic Record reading is a current time interpretation of your situation. Please keep in mind that you always have free will and free choice to make any decision you feel is right for you. We are all active creators of our own lives.

Paper and pen is provided for you to make notes, but you may bring a recording device if you wish. A session is one hour in length and a list of possible questions can be provided. I offer readings out of locations in Acton, Port Credit (Mississauga) Longbranch (Etobicoke) and Waterloo.

Every year has a triple number day (Oct 10, 2010, Sept 9, 2009 etc. ) each with it’s own unique significance both Numerologically and Energetically.

The current years triple number day is almost here — November 11, 2011 (11:11:11) a Triple 11 Gateway, an exciting time to be sure!  Here’s why — 

*Eleven is a master number (carrying a higher vibration than single digits) and represents the balance between the material and the spiritual, feminine and masculine, give and take, yin and yang and so on.  Eleven also represents a gateway — an invitation to walk through into new beneficial practices, habits and a way of being more in alignment with who you really are.   

*Three (as in 3 elevens) represents a trilogy, perfection and creativity.  It is the gateway to the conscious mind, memory and understanding. 

*When we add all the numbers in the date (1+1+1+1+2+0+1+1) we get 8.  Eight reflects energy, abundance, good judgement, honour, balance, and helping others.  Turn an 8 on its side and you get the symbol for infinity.

Who Me... Exercise?

Those of you who know me personally know that I am basically lazy. I admit it. Although I maintain relatively healthy eating habits I am not one to say “Lets go jogging!” or “I feel like taking a spin class”.

Even though I am aware that physical exercise is good for me and I feel immensely better afterward, sometimes it is easier to distract myself with anything else that needs doing rather than going for a hike or even walking to the mailbox.

Recently I noticed that I have ‘sock marks’ which indicates that my lymph system is not performing well. No big surprise here since I tend to hibernate inside during the cold winter months. The Lymph system is comprised of our body fluids other than blood, and doesn’t have a pump, unlike the circulatory system which has the heart to drive it. Exercise moves the lymph so when we don’t exercise or move around much, the lymph system doesn’t move efficiently.

I was also feeling sluggish, craving too many carbohydrates and sugar, also a result of my current sedentary habits and being in hibernation mode. This kind of eating was literally slowing me down, physically and mentally. Through my fog I spied a DVD I purchased in a moment of clarity and good intentions “Kundalini Yoga to detox and destress with Maya Fiennes” I have to admit that it took a few additional days for me to actually put the DVD in the player and give it a try.

Well…the first time although I got through the entire program, I have to admit that I was unable to fully complete every component. I did however feel immediately calmer, clearer and quite enjoyed the whole experience. Please note that the box notes this DVD is for all fitness and experience levels. I took that to include ‘slug’ and ‘I remember how good I felt when I went to Yoga Class’, both of which apply to me.

After only 10 days of every other day use, I find that I look forward to popping the DVD in the player and anticipate the calm, clear relaxed feeling I achieve rather easily and can maintain for longer and longer periods after each session. I am even scheduling things around my Yoga time — a Huge Attitude Shift for me!

This regular exercise is also helping me to get in touch with my physical body, I feel firmer and have more energy. The carb and sugar cravings are gone and my brain fog has lifted. My neck no longer creaks and groans when I do the neck circles and my shoulders are no longer up around my ears which they tend to do when I am stressed.

Why Kundalini Yoga you say? It’s a perfect starting point, being extremely easy to learn, and offering quick results. The Kidney and Adrenal Gland detoxification and strengthening is a huge benefit to all as these organs are commonly overworked in our fast paced lifestyle.

I highly recommend that you pick up this DVD and give it a try. I purchased my copy through Amazon.ca, but I think you can find it elsewhere. This is one good habit I am finding very enjoyable and easy to include in my life. Who knows, it may lead to other forms of exercise — but think I will wait for the snow to go away first.

11:11:11 A Gateway for Positive Change

In addition to being Remembrance Day, today is an important gateway for change and an opportunity to break free of limitations.

November is of course, the eleventh month, today the eleventh day, in an eleven year (2 + 0 + 0 + 9 = 11) all of which combines for a triple eleven configuration. 11:11:11 is a rare and energetically very powerful occurrence.

So what does this mean and how can you make use of this energetic gateway?

The number 11 is a Master Number, the figure 11:11 is a symbol of the path to wisdom of Spirit (God, Oneness or whichever term you prefer). On this rare and powerful 11:11:11 configuration, your conscious intention(or question for that matter), spoken, written, or mentally projected to Spirit through this ‘open doorway’ holds more ‘energetic might’ than on other occasions.

Spend some quiet time considering what structures, habits or conditions may be holding you back from being all that you can be or following your true life path.
While in meditation or quiet contemplation, resolve to make the necessary changes to break free from dictating confinement. If you are not sure what steps are necessary, ask that you be clearly shown the path to positive change, so that you may follow it. Declaring your intent on such an energetically powerful day blesses your intention threefold.

In addition to Remembering and Honouring those who made the ultimate sacrifice for freedom and those who are currently serving to promote and maintain order, perhaps you might clearly state your intentional desire to promote Peace, Tolerance and an end to fanaticism. Our combined intention can and will indeed make a difference for all residing on the planet today and in the future.

And a bit more on the subject of Numerology….

Numerology assigns a number to each letter of the alphabet corresponding to the numerical position it holds (e.g. the letter Q is the 17th letter of the alphabet, 1 + 7 + 8, which is its root number)

The numbers 1 through 9 resonate with particular characteristics, so by adding up the numerals of your birth date, or the numbers corresponding to all the letters of your full name given at birth, you can receive extarordinary insight into your life purpose and destiny. There is however, a special category of double digit master numbers (11, 22, 33 etc).

Using this formula as explained by numerology expert Tania Gabrielle, the words psychic, creative, vibration, and enlightenment are all 11 words.

The above is a very limited explanation of a small portion of a fascinating subject. There are many books and internet articles available on numerology. One that I frequently refer to is ‘Messages from Spirit’ by Collette Baron-Reid (2008, Published by Hay House, Inc, available through Amazon.ca)
